    Product Policies

    Return Shipment Policy

    • The products with in 180days after delivery and having no user-made damages are eligible for repairs. 
    • Initially customer must contact support team of ELDAAS for resolution to the problem online. 
    • If support team is unable to solve the issue online, then only, Support team will issue RMA number after validating the issue. ​​
    • With RMA number only, customer can download RMA form, which has to be sent along with the product for repair. 
    •  The board to be repaired, RMA form along with supporting documents for shipping only are to be shipped to ELDAAS.   ELDAAS will not take any responsibility for any other material. 
    • The inward and outward shipping cost is to be borne by the customer. The customer shall pay for the additional costs arising if any, due to inappropriate/incomplete documentation during the shipment 
    • Repairing or replacing the returned product is at the sole discretion of ELDAAS 
    • Based on the complexity of the issue, ELDAAS normally intimates the time for repair.
    •  ELDAAS may decide to offer replacement at discounted price.  
    • ELDAAS reserves the right to refuse any RMA returns without an RMA number, with incomplete Product or documentation 
    • After the completion of RMA procedure; the software/firmware on the products shall have factory default Software 
    • Customers will be liable for loss or damage caused by their shipping carrier, while sending products to ELDAAS. In such a scenario the RMA request shall be void.

    Product Shipping Process​

    Courier Account

    • Products can be shipped on either ELDAAS courier account or the customer’s courier account. ELDAAS Prefers to use customer’s courier to avoid customs issues in the destination port.  

    Insurance

    • ELDAAS delivery department insures all shipments by default, unless otherwise explicitly specified in the customer’s order.

    Responsibility in case of loss

    • Items shipped on ELDAAS courier account remain ELDAAS responsibility until delivery to the customer. Customer must take responsibility for custom related issues. Items shipped on the customer’s courier account are the customer’s sole responsibility from collection at ELDAAS. Loss or damage during shipment is considered like loss/damage in the customer’s facilities. ELDAAS will support in all possible ways wherever required. 

    No Consolidations

    • Items available for shipment at the same time are usually consolidated by default.
    • Consolidation requests are ignored in most cases, especially if they refer to items not available at the same time. 

    Documentation

    Along with shipping products below documents will be provided. 

    • Invoice 
    • Delivery challan 
    • Test report 
    • Country of Origin document 
    • Certificate of Compliance (COC)
    • Declaration of items along with value
    • Items list in the package box

    Beyond that listed above, no other documentation is provided, even if specifically requested in a purchase order form.

    Environmental Policy

    Green Products Standard set by ELDAAS is based on ROHS standards, REACH Standards and other specific requirements of various customers. This page will be updated time to time based new requirements. 

    RoHS Compliance / Declaration:

    All electrical and electronic components used in our supplied assembled boards that are RoHS compliant to meet the requirements of European Union directive. Compliance of the individual such part /components used in the products is verified through their individual test report/declaration from the respective vendors / their datasheet.

    Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemical Substances (REACH) in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006

    The candidate list according to article 59 (1, 10) of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) was published the first time on October 28th, 2008 on the website of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). Determining whether any of its products contain more than 0.1 percent by weight of the candidate substances is an ongoing process. For this purpose, the company is in close contact with its suppliers.

    ELDAAS evaluates the supplier certifications and material composition declarations for the subparts used in the product. Based on that, to the best of our knowledge, we certify that our current product(s) do not have a substance which is intended to be released during normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.

    Information Regarding Candidate List as amended on January 16, 2020

    Under the REACH regulation, manufacturers and importers of substances must obtain all the data needed to assess the substances they produce or import. They must also demonstrate convincingly that their substances are safe to handle for all identified uses and thus harmful effects on human health and the environment can be avoided.

    Concerning substances of very high concern (SVHC) manufactures of articles, in particular components manufacturers, are obliged to inform their customers in case an SVHC is contained in a product with more than 0,1% w/w. The list SVHC is regularly updated and published by the ECHA.

    Parts Change Notification (PCN) policy​

    Any product change notification will be intimated in predefined format to existing customer time to time.  

    To receive engineering change notifications by email, Please send an ECN request to sales@eldaas.com

    The ECN request email should include the following details:

    Warranty Terms

    ELDAAS guarantees hardware products against defects in workmanship and material for a period of 30days from the date of shipment. Your sole remedy and ELDAAS’s sole liability shall be for ELDAAS, at its sole discretion, to either repair or replace the defective hardware product at no charge or to refund the purchase price. Shipment costs in both directions are the responsibility of the customer. 

    ELDAAS does not provide any warranty for defects that have not been caused by ELDAAS; In particular the warranty is not applicable for :

    • Handling errors, intervention, or modification of the Products by the Customer or an unauthorized third party
    • Defects which have been caused by incorrect installation by the Customer or a third party acting on the Customer’s behalf
    • Compatibility and functioning with other products, unless expressly warranted
    • Defects which have been caused by outside influences.
    • Fitness of the Products for any particular purpose
    • Third party products for which the respective manufacturer is responsible
    • Services which have not been performed in accordance with the instructions

    Limitation on Liability

    • UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL ELDAAS BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR EXPENSE SUFFERED OR INCURRED WITH RESPECT TO ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL ELDAAS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFIT OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY) THAT YOU MAY SUFFER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM USE OF ANY PRODUCT.

     

    • Both parties also agree that the price of the products reflects the allocation of risk, warranty and limitation of liability provisions herein. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by ELDAAS, the ELDAAS products sold hereunder are not designed nor intended for any use in medical lifesaving or life sustaining applications which the failure of the ELDAAS product could create a situation where personal injury or death may occur. Should Buyer purchase or use ELDAAS’s Products for any such unintended use, Buyer shall indemnify and hold ELDAAS and its directors, officers, subsidiaries, subcontractors and affiliates harmless against all claims, costs, damages, and expenses, and reasonable attorney fees arising out of, directly or indirectly, any claim of product liability, personal injury or death associated with such unintended use, even if such claim alleges that ELDAAS or its sub-contractor was negligent regarding the design or manufacture of the ELDAAS Product or any of its parts.

    Software

    All software is owned by ELDAAAS or a third-party licensor who shall retain exclusive right, title and ownership of the software. Customer is granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive license, without the right to sublicense, to use the software only with the specific ELDAAS products.

    Longevity

    Our products longevity period varies from 5 to 15 years.  End the life (EOL) notification we can provide before 12 months so that customers will have sufficient time to migrate or upgrade their products. Customer can also buy components for product lifetime. ELDAAS committed to support customers in all possible ways.
